We’ve seen photos from the factory coming loaded on new iPhones before, but this is the first time we’ve seen what appear to be intentional snapshots loaded on a new iPhone.

PSP 3000

LED Flashlight

Duracell’s new LED flashlight boasts “TrueBeam technology that uses ‘both a lens and a reflector to capture and project up to 100 percent of the light’”. Video after the break.

Duracell will be offering the Daylite in three varieties: the 80 lumens AAA / AA versions (both $25) and the powerful 160 lumens CR123 version ($35) beginning this month at drug and hardware stores.

Portable Yamaha

KDDI has unveiled a few innovative phone concepts, which includes “Band in my Pocket” (above). This handset “can receive five different modules from the bass module to a trumpet module.” Click here for more portable Yamaha concepts.

The second one is the “Trio in your Hand” concept which features a third interface which will allow you to scratch like a DJ thanks to a special pad. According to KDDI staff, it had also been designed to play to game easier.

Reality Racing

Unlike other iPhone racing games, Reality Racing offers “community features which allow you to upload you ideal times to a central website.” Video after the break.

PocketGamer.co.uk had a hands on and described the graphics as “spiffing” and claims the tilt controls “knock spots off other iPhone racing games so far.” Head-to-head multiplayer over network or Wi-Fi is also available.

Russian Rocket

A 58m-high, 700-ton Russian rocket from the Cold-War era has successfully launched the “Inmarsat-4, or I4-F3 broadband satellite” into space. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Almost as large as a double decker bus and with an unfurled solar wingspan as wide as a football field, it needed an appropriately big ride into space.
