The children over at Engadget Spanish ran some photos of a new Dell laptop a short while back, and now the company itself has leaked some stats and info on its support site. Apparently, the device — dubbed the Inspiron 1545 — will boast a 15.6-inch widescreen, a Core 2 Duo processor (max 2.53GHz), up to 4GB memory and will ship with either Vista or Ubuntu. There’s more to it than that, of course — hit the read link for some docs and make sure you check out the gallery for more info.

Not sure if you’ve noticed, but the battle between the netbooks has suddenly turned to price. Just 24 hours (give or take a few) after hearing that HP was lowering the MSRP of its Mini 1000 by $40, in flies news that Lenovo has pushed out a new IdeaPad S10 that seems like a pretty good bargain. For just a few bucks over the standard model ($449 to $459 depending on hue), to-be buyers can get one with 1GB of DDR2 RAM and a capacious 160GB (5,400 RPM) hard drive. Before you get all excited and pull the trigger, we should remind you that CES 2009 is under a month away — can you state “upgrades?”

[Thanks, CargoJack]

Not your average bike, the GrassHopper is designed “to satisfy those who like to bicycle in normal each day life but live in places/cities where the configuration of the terrain is too severe (cough: hills).” Click here for first picture in gallery.

The battery charges through regenerative braking and stationary bicycling. Yes you read right, this bike can turn into a stationary exercise bike.

In Fast and Furious: Pink Slip, “the racing is spread across several different events, from drag racing to drift runs, but with one singular goal - fill your personal garage with some of the flashiest rides straight from the films, including a special appearance by Dom’s muscle car from the original Fast and the Furious.” Video after the break.

Designed as a pure arcade-style racer instead of a more narrative-driven game like the previous entry in the series, Fugitive, Pink Slip is exactly what the title promises: A series of breakneck races.

Unlike other fireplaces, these can either be wall-mounted or sunk “into a wall, depending on how much space you have to work with.” All pieces are custom made, so pricing will vary. Click here for first picture in gallery.

French fixture makers Arkiane have two gorgeous wall-mounted fireplace designs - Icoya is inspired by an ancient Incan deity, and the other, the Yan-Li, is a more obvious flame shape.
