This NES commercial from the 80’s just might be the creepiest one we’ve ever seen. Let’s just state that it’s a cross between a horror flick and/or a bad game ending. Video after the break.

You know, the NES never really caught on in Australia. It was always Master System/C64 country. No wonder, when you look at horrific, blankie-clutching stuff like this.

What superior way to advertise your company or service than on something that just about everybody will use. To start, we’ve a creative ad by Emirates This day, showing that a good newspaper doesn’t have to be big in size — though the bench doesn’t look very comfortable. You won’t have to worry about over tightening the Smartbolt, as it features a “visual tension indicator that starts out red and turns” darker when tightened. No word yet on pricing or availability.

This is a useful invention, showing you the actual tightness of a bolt rather than relying on a torque wrench’s measurements, which can be off by as much as 30%.

Aside from the minigun, this fighter jet inspired motorcycle “has a few added, nutty frills, such as an 8-inch LCD screen ‘to view Full Metal Jacket, Iron Eagle, or Top Gun and the capability to broadcast a view of the victims left in its wake via an integrated rear view camera.’” Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

“Obviously the first thing that grabs one’s attention is the 800-watt MTX audio system.” Well, sure, that’s impressive - but I think the minigun mounted to the front of the ‘cycle caught my eye first.

Finally, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 has been cloned. This handset runs “Windows CE, quite possibly supports dual SIM cards, and it has an FM receiver (probably).” Video after the break.

How would you improve the XPERIA X1? If you answered, “remove the keyboard and add a mangled iPhone UI,” then the iFone x1 will be right.

Amazon is offering the Tokyo Flash Men’s “Cyber Punk” Watch for just $39.99 shipped, originally priced at $150.00. Its “mirror face features various scrolling LED patterns with 90 LED lights, and when the button is pressed the lights scroll across the display in various directions, then wipe off only leaving just enough lights to display the time and date.” Product page.

This watch is a bit more easy to use that other Tokyo Flash designs, but it is no less hip. The Cyber Punk measures 3.8 centimeters across, 4.0 centimeters long, and 0.9 centimeters thick, and features a band made of solid stainless steel (maximum wrist size 20.5 cm) with a push-button, fold-over clasp.

Williams’ Smash Television basically “involves players competing in a violent gameshow, set in the then-future of 1999.” ScrewAttack takes a look back at this title after the break.

Moving from one room to the next within the studio/arena, players have to shoot down hordes of enemies as they advance from all sides, while at the same time collecting weapons, power-up items, and assorted bonus prizes.
