Cool PC

At first glance, this hardware component might look like a giant radiator, but it’s actually Thermalright’s HSC-101 Personal computer case. Reportedly, “one side of the case is for the processor while the other side is for the graphics card and other components.” No word yet on pricing or availability. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Thermalright also showed off another case with six massive fans in the front and back. This is accomplished by moving the motherboard a few inches away from the back.

Spacewarp

The Spacewarp 5000 from ThinkGeek is a DIY “perpetual motion steel ball roller coaster [that] recreates the classic 80’s toy.” Video after the break. Click here for one more picture.

You do need to cut the track to the proper length for each section with scissors and measurements are only provided in metric. We do warn you however that you will need some time to assemble your Spacewarp 5000 and get each track segment correct so the balls stay on the track properly.

Konami Metal Gear

IGN pits the Metal Gear Solid 4 E3 2006 and final build trailers against each other to see just how things have changed graphically in the past couple of years. Video after the break. Click here for fist picture in gallery.

Gone is the fancy lighting and bonus rendering passes, in its place not only an increased level of detail in the character models, but a game that you’ll actually be able to play next week.

Zelda Super Nintendo

Sure, you could paint any Super Nintendo/Famicom system green, but very few can build a custom Zelda-inspired case like French modder Kotomi. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Several parts were also [painted] gold here but in a golden chrome-like finish that reflects what’s happening (like cartridge game).

Solar Cell Phone

The Eclipse Intuit is a solar cell phone that features a “powerful 5 megapixel camera with built-in software for editing and uploading to a photo album, slide-out touch keyboard with tactile feedback, and a nice big touchscreen front and center.” No word yet on availability. Click here for first picture in gallery.

What makes this concept unique is parts of the phone are made from a chemically based thin solar skin to charge the battery when exposed to any kind of light.

Resident Evil Five

Capcom teases with another batch of Resident Evil Five screens from the Japanese PSN trailer, which is “slightly different from the Japanese RE5 trailer Capcom showed at Captivate.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

The PSN trailer does not explicitly show the parasites, and there is no blood. Instead, the Japanese PSN Resident Evil 5 features new scenes and a new shipping container yard area.

He’s sad because you haven’t built him yet. He’s thinking: “Oh, sure, life is grand on this work bench, picking up nuts and bolts, but I want to explore the big wide open.

3G iPhone Picture

From the leaked 3G iPhone picture above, it appears that this next-generation handset will support video iChat over Wi-Fi or AT&T’s high-speed data network. Plus, you’ll be able to pick from either black and red colors. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Both the standard black version and the project (RED) version have tapered edges, which match the “thinner” rumors, and a fatter middle, which match the “slightly thicker” rumors.

Hybrid Supercar

Ronn Motors’ The Scorpion is claimed to be the “first commercial automobile with a system built-in that produces hydrogen on demand.” During normal operation, hydrogen would be mixed with petrol for improved gas mileage. No word yet on availability. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Without the hydrogen injection system, the Scorpion reaches 27 mpg; with it, it tops out at 40 mpg. For an eco-car capable of 200 mph that goes 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, that’s not half bad.
