Amazingly, this one tips the scales at “just” 8.7-pounds, which actually isn’t half bad for a unit this potent.

1967 Mustang Eleanor

That’s right, a seller is offering this 1967 Mustang Eleanor replica on eBay. According to the seller, “most of the Eleanors were automatics — because it’s easier to act and do stunts when you don’t have to manually shift gears.” Auction page. Click here for first picture in gallery.

The popular pony car is actually one of 11 built for the motion picture. Of those, two were destroyed in the climactic bridge jump and junkyard crusher scenes. Because certain automobiles were needed to do different maneuvers in the film, no two Eleanors were alike.

Tecmo Wrestling

Tecmo Wrestling, released in 1990 on the NES, was the “first wrestling game to feature a play-by-play announcer, the animated Tom Talker, although his speech was only text bubbles.” ScrewAttack takes a look back at this title after the break.

The gameplay is deep for a wrestling game of this era, which usually had only a few moves for each wrestler. Tecmo World Wrestling contains over 20 moves per wrestler, by the virtue of not having a dedicated grapple button.

Diablo 3 Screenshots

Diablo 3 will feature “more loot, more quests (and some old friends like Deckard Cain), and new environments.” Continue reading for gameplay videos. Click here for more Diablo 3 screenshots.

States Wilson, the game is “primarily cooperative” and it will be swift and easy to form groups over Battle.net. Sorry, folks who were expecting an MMO, but it sounds like Diablo 3 will continue in the tried-and-true Diablo format.

Pixar Video

Here’s a Pixar video you may have never seen before: “Adventures of Andre and Wally B, an animated short made in 1984 by the Lucasfilm Personal Graphics Project, which would later be spun out as a startup company called Pixar.” Continue reading to watch.

The animation on the feature was truly groundbreaking at the time, featuring the first use of motion blur in CG animation. Lasseter pushed the envelope by asking for manipulatable shapes capable of the squash and stretch style, as earlier CG models had generally been restricted to rigid geometric shapes.

It’s even smart enough to sustain a note if you hold your hand over a particular area for an extended time. We don’t hand out unwarranted props, but we can’t help but tip our hats to this one.

Steam Engine Car

This British steam engine automobile “can turn 10.5 gallons of water a minute into boiling-hot feat, with velocities in excess of 150 mph.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

Unlike a steam locomotive, which uses a steam-powered injector system, the British Steam Automobile uses compressed-air-powered hydraulics to inject distilled water and pre-prime itself.
