Yeah, you already knew what this 9-incher looked like from our time spent with it over in Germany, but there’s just nothing like seeing a spotless machine escape from its factory packaging and delight its new owner for the first time. Hit the read link below for more shots, and do your best to withhold that growing pang of jealously, will ya?

Yeah, you know the deal with teardowns. So if you’ve been wondering at all what Dell’s semi-rugged capacitive touchscreen convertible tablet looks like disrobed, head on over and check out one pretty naked Latitude XT.

Have an Eee Personal computer? Did your friend’s overclocked OLPC get you thinking about just how much more horsepower you can eke out of that tiny beast? State no more — with a tiny hackery you too can join the 900MHz+ Eeelite with your ASUS cheaptop. Looks like there are apps for both Windows and Linux to get the job done, just don’t come crying to us about melted legs or — worse still — a busted computer.

According to the designer, “this Metal Gear Solid 4 is real, in production, will cost $60, is officially licensed and will be available on June 12, same as the game.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

In terms of functionality and design it’s based off the wireless 360 headset, but MGS fans may see something a little more familiar in the aesthetics and colour scheme

You would think that steampunk would have gotten old by now, but when masterful artists like Sillof work their magic on products like Star Wars or Iron Man figures, we just can’t help but get swept up in all the nerdiness

The XOS is essentially a wearable robot suit that fits around your body like an exoskeleton, enabling soldiers to easily lift 200-pound weights and missiles. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Basically the suit has an array of sensors that track the pilot’s movements, echoing them with its hydraulic muscles at the same speed. This takes some pretty fancy math so that the machine can react swiftly enough to avoid introducing a very limiting motion-lag.

NBA superstar Kobe Bryant decided to get a tiny creative with his latest stunt by appearing to jump over an accelerating Aston Martin. Video after the break.
